Men who used Facebook to lure victim arrested for gang rape

The men and some male minors also allegedly recorded the crime on a cell phone.

Guam – Social media is a powerful tool but in some instances it an be used by individuals with bad intentions allowing to prey on youth.

On Sept. 5, a complaint was received at a local high school alleging that a 15-year-old girl had been gang raped.

According to court documents, the girl told police that she was contacted by a man named Elevenson Ressa through Facebook Messenger back in July. Ressa arranged for the victim to meet him at a bus stop.

Court papers state that Ressa, along with a male minor, picked up the victim and took her to Ressa’s Mongmong residence. The victim told police that while she was there, Ressa took her to a jungle area where he pulled her to the ground and raped her while the male minor recorded them.

The male minor allegedly refused to give the victim her phone unless she followed him back to the residence. Once inside the residence, the male minor pulled the victim into the bathroom where he too, police say, raped the victim.

According to court documents, another male minor then entered the bathroom and also raped the girl. The victim told police that while she was showering, two more men identified as Joshua Joshua and NPJ Resa also attempted to rape the victim but were unsuccessful.

The victim told police that she believes the male individuals had planned to sexually assault her.

Elevenson Ressa was charged with possession of child pornography and third degree criminal sexual conduct. Joshua and Resa were charged with possession of child pornography and attempted third degree criminal sexual conduct.
