GDOE Behind On Voluntary Payroll Deductions

GDOE is one pay period behind in payroll deductions, asking employees to pay one month in advance to avoid being behind on bills.   
Three weeks into the new school year, Superintendent Jon Fernandez's extended paid administrative leave will be addressed next Tuesday the 13th.
Although the organization Silent No More did not reach their 100,000 signature goal, the campaign was able to secure about 3,000 signatures for a petition to lift the statute of limitations on child sex abuse on Guam.

US Pacific Command to Attend Valiant Shield 2016

An estimated 18,000 military personnel from US Pacific Command will attend Valiant Shield, a military training exercise for US forces.
