Agana Shopping Center and Micronesia Mall center courts will be accepting tax returns without payments tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guam - The deadline to file income tax returns is tomorrow, and the Department of Rev and Tax is making it more convenient for last-minute filers.

Satellite offices at the Agana Shopping Center and Micronesia Mall center courts started accepting tax returns and extensions this morning at 10 a.m. These locations are only accepting returns without payments, and will be open again on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extension forms will be available as well, but the department is reminding everyone that filing an extension does not extend the pay time. Payments not received by the April 18th deadline may accrue penalties.

Those who need to make payments will have to visit any of the three Treasurer of Guam locations: The Department of Rev and Tax in Barrigada, the Department of Administration on the first floor of the ITC building in Tamuning, and the Department of Public Works One Stop Center in Upper Tumon. Taxpayers also have the option of mailing payments to the Treasurer of Guam, which must be postmarked by April 18.

If you don’t have time to visit the satellite locations or offices, Rev and Tax will have a drop box available after 5 p.m. at their Barrigada office. Forms must be dropped in the drop box before midnight. Internet-savvy 1040EZ filers can file and pay online at guamtax.com, and extension Form 4868 can be filed at myguamtax.com.
