UOG celebrates 49th Charter DayWritten by Donna De Jesus
Guam - The University of Guam is celebrating its 49th Charter Day tomorrow, and the public is invited to attend the festivities.
Charter Day is the largest community event held on the campus every year, attracting thousands of attendees to enjoy a full day of food, games, and activities. Charter Day festivities will run the whole day tomorrow, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting with opening ceremonies in the Center Courtyard, and family-friendly activities and events running throughout the day.
This year’s theme is “Tritons United,” and the university’s official hand sign, the Trident, will be displayed to help unite the campus community. The public can look forward to campus tours, project displays, carnival games, live music, and the CHamoru Language Competition. The Charter Day event is open to the public.
