Guam - The body of a spearfisherman who went missing last night off of waters in Umatac Bay has been recovered, says Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Kevin Reilly.

Reilly reports that GFD units responded to Umatac Bay around 8:40pm Monday for a reported missing spearfisherman who failed to return to shore at sundown. US Coast Guard Sector Guam and the Guam Police Department Marine Patrol also participated in search efforts, says Reilly.

About an hour later, Reilly says divers found the spearfisherman who's identity has not been released. Reilly says the individual is a male in his late 20s. CPR was not conducted and the man was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital.
