GVB welcomes new members to board of directors

The Guam Visitors Bureau adds four new members to Board of Directors. 

Guam - Four new members have been elected to serve on the Guam Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors.

Newly elected members Brad Kloppenburg of Kloppenburg Enterprises Inc., Satoru Murata of Holiday Tours Micronesia, and DFS Guam Travel Industry Relations Vice President Tasuo "Tak" Takano were the newest additions to GVB's Board of Directors.

Meanwhile, United Airlines Managing Director of Operations for Asia/Pacific Sam Shinohara was also elected to serve another two year term in the GVB board.

The members are a part of the 13 member board that is responsible in “shaping the vision of Guam as a world class destination of choice.” Four members are elected by GVB's general membership to serve two terms while five members are appointed by the governor.

GVB General Manager Nate Denight stated in a press release that he believes “their voices will be best represented with who they elected to serve our island."
