Man accused of assaulting a 4-year-old pleads not guiltyWritten by Donna De Jesus
Guam - The 62-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl was arraigned at the Northern Court Satellite this morning and pleaded not guilty.
In a magistrate report, Danilo "Baby" Morales is stated to have been reported to police after the mother of a 4-year-old girl known to Morales received a call from a relative saying her daughter was acting strange. The mother said her daughter was touching her doll inappropriately.
When the mother asked the girl why she did that, the minor reportedly said that Morales had also touched her on her private parts. The victim was taken to Healing Hearts where police say she reported that Morales told her not to tell anyone about what happened.
Morales waived his right to a speedy trial. His trial setting date is scheduled for January 26 at 9:30 a.m.
