Guam – Jupiter Juno inc. and Base Corporation broke ground on a $7.6 million, 33-unit, 5.9 acre, residential development on Umang Street in Agat this morning.

Construction will begin next week to build three model homes which should be completed in 4-5 months.  Construction on the remaining 30 homes should be completed by mid-2019. Vice-President of Base Corporation Jay Kim says that their development will include improvements to the water pressure in the area.

“Like a booster pumps and then when you get the water pressure upgraded here then automatically the lower portion gets better pressure,” said Kim.

Jupiter Juno President Eisuke Sasaki and General Manager Ryuichi Sasaki spoke to PNC saying that Guam had some of the best potential for this type of development compared to other countries he recently visited. Eisuke said through a translator that after he retired he was looking to start new businesses ventures outside of his home country of Japan.

This is Jupiter Juno’s first development on Guam but they are planning other projects in the future.
