Guam Masters: Marlins Defeated Kosrae 7-5; Braves Blank Red Hawks 17-0

Guam - The Guam Masters Baseball Association is hosting its 8th season at Paseo Stadium with nine teams set for the 2013 schedule.

Over the weekend on Saturday, March 2, 2013, the season got underway with four games.

The Maimai Marlins defeated the Kosrae Masters 7-5. The Santa Rita Braves blanked the Yona Red Hawks shutting them out 17-0. The Asan Rai easily beat the MTM Falcons 17-2. In the nightcap, it was the Agana Heights Cougars routing the Triple J Blue jays 22-5.

Guam Masters Baseball League (GMBL) action continued on Monday night, March 4, 2013, with a double header. In the first game it was the MTM Falcons taking the easy shut out win over the Yona Red Hawks, 22-0.

MTM's Chris Naputi going 3-for-4, and four runs scored. Teammate Ray Aguon went 2-for-4 and four runs scored. In the nightcap, it was the Asan Rai holding off the Kosrae Masters, 14-10. Asan's Luis Camacho going 3-for-4 with three runs scored.

The GMBL continues on Saturday, March 9, 2013. All games at Paseo Stadium.
