Andrew and Anthony are the sons of Anthony and Nanette Ermitano of Tamuning. Both will graduate from Father Duenas Memorial School (FDMS) in April 2013. The Ermitano brothers were nominated by Congresswoman Bordallo, and competed with nominees nationwide for admission into the Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
Both currently boast a 4.0 grade point average and are ranked first in their class at FDMS. Andrew and Anthony have been ROTC cadets in the Father Duenas Memorial School Phoenix Company throughout all four years of their high school careers and are active in interscholastic sports, school clubs, and the National Honor Society.
Most recently, both brothers helped bring back a bronze medal for the Junior Achievement Guam team in the recent Asia Pacific 2013 Junior Achievement Company of the Year Competition held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“I congratulate Andrew and his twin brother Anthony on their appointments to both the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy,” said Congresswoman Bordallo. “I couldn’t be more proud of both of these fine young men, both military service academies will be lucky to have two sons of Guam who will become capable and dedicated leaders in the U.S. Military and serve as officers with honor for our island and nation.”
