Guam - Kool and the Gang are back on Guam. This is their third visit to the island, after a long absence.
The group will be giving 2 performances. First at the UOG Fieldhouse Friday night. And then Saturday night at the Red Cross "Red Ball."
They're known for hits like "Jungle Boogie", "Get Down On It", "Fresh", "Cherish", and "Celebration", which went to number one back in 1980.
The Gang got started way back in 1964 in New Jersey. Since then, they've seen some personnel changes, but brothers Robert and Ronald Bell continue to lead. At the Hyatt Thursday they gave reporters a taste of one of their favorite tunes, and Robert "Kool" Bell said they're glad to be back on Guam, again.
