Atalig says that he is just a frustrated common man who wants to make a difference. Atalig wants to revamp the Department of Education by working with the new superintendent and getting a Republican leadership in the legislature. He believes that by going after compact impact re-reimbursements and ARRA funding they can better fund the school system. "The school facilities that's priority I mean how could you teach kids in a poor environment I mean how could teachers teach students if they don't have the proper tools we can't just keep coming up with excuses and ruin the chances for these students to have a decent education,” said Atalig. Atalig is running for senator on the Republican ticket.
