Guam - A 2 year old baby girl is in serious condition at GMH this morning after a car backed over her Sunday afternoon.

GMH Nursing Supervisor Bill Toves says that girl is in the intensive care unit at GMH.

GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that a 39 year old man driving a 2009 Nissan Sentra backed over the girl on Alupang Way in Tamuning about 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

Officer Balajadia said that the man was not related to the girl, no alcohol was involved in the incident and no arrest have been made.

It is not clear yet how the baby came to be on the ground in the path of the vehicle.
