Guam- The Department of Public Health & Social Services, the Mayors Council of Guam and the Man'amko are reacting to the emergency legislation introduced to extend the contract of the Government of Guam Association of Retired Persons for the operations of the island's 12 senior centers.
While everyone has their own concerns, the one thing they agree on is that service should continue for the island's senior citizens come March 1.

Monday's Special Session adjourned about 5:30 pm after roughly 2 hours of testimony. No vote was taken on the emergency legislation.
The Special Session will resume Tuesday morning at 10 am.
