Guam - The Committee on Appropriations, Taxation, Public Debt, Banking, Insurance, Retirement & Land held a public hearing on Bill No. 415-31 (COR), An act to support women and save children, by adding a new Chapter 94 to Title 10 of the Guam Code Annotated, which may be cited as the Acto Para Ma Sapotte I Fama’lao’an Yan Para Ma Satba I Famagu’on last Friday evening, February 24, 2012 at 5:30pm.

The Committee received written testimony from the Department of Public Hearing & Social Services, however because no other testimonies were received, the Committee will shortly schedule a second hearing in the near future to provide maximum opportunity for public participation.

The Committee apologizes if the day and time was inconvenient for the public because of the beginning of the Lenten season.
