NWS: Urban & Small Stream Flood Advisory Extended Until 12:30 pm TODAY

Guam -The National Weather Service has extended its Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory until 12:30 pm this afternoon [Friday].


Another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is possible on top of the 1 to 2 inches that has already fallen this monring.

The NWS warns that excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on small creeks and streams and ponding of water in urban areas. Highways,  streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage areas and low lying spots are subject to flooding.
