Guam – GovGuam employees earn on average more than double what private sector employees earn.
According to a report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics as of March of this year private sector non-supervisory employees earned an average of $486.99 a week while GovGuam employees on average earned $1,012.68 a week. In addition to this the statistics show that earnings of private sector employees remained nearly the same over the course of a year. In March of 2016 private sector employees earned on average $483.83 a week by September of 2016 their average earnings went up slightly to $496.84 a week but by March of 2017 it had gone back down to $486.99 a week. GovGuam earnings on the other hand went up over the course of a year. In March of 2016 GovGuam employees were earning $898.80 a week on average. By September of 2016 GovGuam employees were earning $930.86 a week and by March of 2017 they were earning $1,012.68 a week.
