Guam – Appointees for the Guam Environmental Protection Agency testified before the legislature for their confirmation hearings.
The new appointees include Jerome Rocco, Ann Marie Roth, Erning Victor Zhou, William D. Nault, and Terrence Brooks. Current board member Bob Perron testified in favor of all five of the nominees saying, “I’ve discussed the the agency mission and goals and what’s before the agency with all of them and I’ve been very impressed with their level of passion for helping the people of Guam and for working with the agency to solve a lot of these problems. So, I’m very anxious to work with this new group.”
The current GEPA board is lacking a quorum so the new members are needed as soon as possible. However, they can’t be confirmed until the next session.
