White and Castro found not guilty

Guam – After two days of trial a verdict in the assault of Liberty Conception has been reached. Jaycee White and Alfredo Castro have each been found not guilty of assault as a misdemeanor. While the prosecution portrayed White and Castro as the aggressors, the Defense argued Mutual Combat. The incident occurred at Linda’s Coffee shop in October 2016, where video surveillance footage had captured the altercation between White, and Conception while Castro and Richard Ragadio who testified in the case as part of a plea deal, looked on. The surveillance footage showed White, Castro and Ragadio walking towards the entrance of Linda’s Coffee Shop when Liberty Conception was alleged to have given the three men an “atan baba” or dirty look which started the fight. The video also depicts White throwing the first punch after exchanging words with Conception. While Castro and White were found not guilty in this case, they also face more serious charges in a separate case involving the death of body boarder Brian Cruz. Who was found unconscious inside a parked car on the same evening of the Linda’s Riot.
